Owen Martin Photography is based in Swansea, South Wales and provides professional photography services. Owen Martin has a BA (honours) in Photojournalism and has had a number of exhibitions of his work, in and around Swansea and in London. He is interested in photographing various political, cultural and environmental issues. He primarily works with digital cameras to create his work. He uses digital technology to create images that look different rather than trying to emulate photographs on film. He pushes his equipment to its limits in order to create effects such as noise and distortion. He has experience with both film and digital photography. He also has experience of both traditional and digital darkroom practices. He has also done event, sport, promotional and wedding photography. He has taken photographs for bands and art gallery websites and posters. He has some experience of advertising photography. He has experience of studio photography and lighting.
