I am interested in photographing various political, cultural and environmental issues. My recent work has been looking at pollution. I have tried to take photographs that don't obviously show pollution, my main project focuses on the sky, showing aeroplanes and vapour trails as well as light pollution. I used a digital camera to photograph this project, I wanted to push the camera to its limits in order to use some of the effects caused by digital cameras such as digital noise. I am interested in using digital technology to create images that look different rather than trying to emulate photographs on film. EDUCATION Gorseinon College, Gorseinon, Swansea. I also have experience of both traditional and digital darkroom practices. I have quite a lot of experience of various computer software such as Adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver and Quark. I have also done some wedding photography. I have taken photographs for bands websites and posters and for a locally produced surfing magazine. I also have some experience of advertising photography. I have experience of studio photography and lighting. I have also displayed my photographs at a number of exhibitions. I also have a website showing some of my work. |
